The break at the Andolla Mountain Hut (2,061 m) allows us to rest in order to face the following path in a high-altitude mountain environment. We cross the walls of the Andolla Peak passing from the Corone Alp (2,360 m, the most high-altitude Alpine pasture of all of Ossola) towards the Varese Cities (Città di Varese) Shelter, placed on the first step of the east spur of Mittelruck at 2,650 m). We thus get to the Bottarello Small Mouth (Bocchetta di Bottarello, 3,152 m) where the path across iron chains and steps to be followed only with proper equipment begins. From the mountain pass we reach Almageller Hutte through glacier traces and moraines by walking through an outstandingly fascinating environment.
