Along the path we take glances among valleys and mountains that allows us to be deeply acquainted with the different Veglia Devero Natural Park environments. From the devero church we coast the Rio Buscagna river, surpass the camping place, and reach the Pedemonte homes. Just before entering the municipality we take a left and cross the torrent on a wooden bridge. The path goes up to the larch woods facing the nice Buscaga Torent Waterfall (which can be seen at the beginning of the summer season or whenever the water has not been captured for hydroelectric purposes) and goes up to the Misanco Alp. We follow on, staying slightly on the right, and go back up a more ripid tract which allows us to nimbly surpass the rocky ramparts. Having reached a small mostly flat valley, we ignore the deviation towards the Black Lake (Lago Nero) and proceed along the H11 path. We enter a nice mostly flat small valley and reach the Alpine lodging homes of the CurtduVel Alp. From here onwards the path starts going up until we reach the higher part of the Buscagna Valley. The prevailing environmental feature of this place is the boundary between the larch forest and the high-altitude prairies, beaten by winds and crossed by clear-water torrents. Thus we reach a fork in the road: the H11 path turns to the left towards Mount Cazzola, a wonderful place from which the scenery can be admired, but we follow straight towards Scatta d’Orogna and not much later we cross the path which goes up from Buscagna. Then through high-altitude prairies we take the steep escarpment which takes us to Scatta d’Orogna. We follow slightly downwards along the mountainside up until we reach a basin with a small (sometimes dry) lake and through yet another path through the mountainside which passes below the steep rocky mountainfaces we go back to the Valtendra Pass (pay attention to the possibility of falling rocks in case of thunderstorms and heavy rains). From here onwards the path goes on completely downwards: we start with a very steep tract which takes us down to the SassMor Plain (Pian SassMor) and we follow on until we reach the great Alp of Pian duScricc (where the Park’s alpine pasture can be found). From here a nice path through the woods goes down along the Rio Frova river valley coasting the torrent’s gully until we reach the back side of a CAI Mountain Hut and thus reach the Veglia Plain.
