From the Small Lake Alp (Alpe Laghetto) we go up to the Field Lakes (Laghi di Campo), a series of lakes placed under the slopes of Mount Straciugo, the tallest peak of the entire Bognanco Valley. From the Pontimia Mountain Pass, from which we can see the High Bognanco Valley and Zwischbergental Mountain Peaks, we enter the tablelands which extend up until underneath the Andolla Mountain Pass. We coast the suggestive lakes of Pontimia, crossing the relics of the Pontimia Alp Alpine lodging houses, and then walk across meadows in front of the severe peaks of Andolla and Weissmies. From the Andolla Mountain Pass we enter the Antrona Valley, descending down to the basin which degrades while going towards the Andolla Alps.
